After two months of renovations, the Riviera Spa has reopened in new premises, keeping the same high standards of care that this famous spa has been renowned for.

The new premises, relocated from inside the Riviera on Vaal Hotel, a member of thefinecollection.co, to just outside in a private garden setting, still feature all the amenities of the original spa and are open to visitors seven days a week, from 07:00 until 17:00.

“It was time to start afresh,” says Spa Manager Lee Alves. “We’ve made a great decision by moving into such an exquisite location.”

Even at first sight, you can tell that Riviera Spa is one of a kind and a beacon of tranquillity and serenity.

The new spa offers a hairdressing salon and a boutique nail bar. The relaunch marks a fresh start for Riviera on Vaal, which has been under new ownership since December 2019. The interior design is clean, contemporary and minimalistic, with soft pale tones throughout, giving it an airy feel that is relaxing for clients.

The new Riviera Spa offers a complete treatment menu with a wide selection of tranquil treatments to soothe and help you relax. Massages and body scrubs feature prominently, all of which are designed to give you peace of mind. Some relaxation techniques are designed to specifically calm your mind while others work on specific areas of muscle pain by improving blood circulation in tired limbs. Riviera Spa offers a range of treatments from anti-ageing regimens to holistic wellness treatments.

“Spa packages like the ‘Signature Journey of Tranquillity Treatment’ embodies the wellness aspect of the new Riviera Spa, that caters for the body, mind and soul,” says Alves.

“Riviera Spa has always been known for their innovative approach to holistic treatments. This time it’s no different, and opening the new spa in a private garden setting was an exciting project,” says Daniel Tharratt, General Manager.

In the evening Riviera Spa is open for private sessions of six people – an enjoyable spa experience with friends while enjoying a glass of bubbly!
