SPCA: Wild animals belong in the wild

The local SPCA (Vereeniging/Vanderbijlpark) open their hearts and doors to all animals in need.

They recently received a Hadida chick that had been displaced from its nest. The feathery fellow was taken for veterinary examination and was afterwards transferred to a wildlife rehabilitation and release centre.

The SPCA warns: Wild animals belong in the wild. It is never a good idea to try and keep a wild animal as a pet. Please call us on 016 422 1505 for any injured or displaced wild animals.
