Driver and passenger assaulted by community after hit and run accident
A driver of a Toyota Tazz, and his passenger were assaulted by the community after being accused of a hit and run of a pedestrian.
After driving away the driver ended up plunging into a white Ford Figo with his vehicle. The accident happened on Mathews Street near the Bophelong Stadium on the 27th of March.
A white Ford Figo belong to Emfuleni Local Municipality, with four occupants was hit from behind by a Tazz that failed to stop after the accident. Rumours has it that the alleged driver of Fogo, was parked with hazard on. This happened over the weekend. A case of negligence and reckless driving is been investigated by the police.
