Nedbank partners with Midvaal to drive economic sustainability
Nedbank has recently been awarded the tender to become Midvaal Local Municipality’s primary banker and will provide transactional-banking services for five years from May 2022.

MIDVAAL. –The partnership was celebrated at an open day at the municipal offices on Friday. During the celebration, Nedbank’s Executive for Relationship and Business Banking in Gauteng, Loderick Lubisi donated R30 000 to three charities namely the Local Football Association, Doulos Ministries South Africa and Ecclesiastes 7 v 7 NPC.
Nedbank’s Executive for Relationship and Business Banking in Gauteng, Loderick Lubisi says “as a bank that uses its financial expertise to do good, Nedbank is delighted to partner with the municipality and play a part in supporting the community’s vision of enhancing its economic position and drive towards sustainable living.
Lubisi said that the partnership with Midvaal was a big achievement, adding that they do not take it lightly.
“Our aim is to use our financial expertise to support the public sector by offering financial solutions that enable the function of service delivery, and through strong partnerships that contribute to growing the economy, creating jobs and enabling clients to see money differently.’
