Annual Border Boys Memorial Parade at Heritage Village

All Military and Police personnel who served, as well as their families are welcome to attend the parade and to lay a wreath or memento in remembrance.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – The Moth Order of Sandy Shellhole, based at the Sylviavale Heritage Village, will hold its annual Border Boys Memorial Parade on Sunday, May 29, to honour and remember all men and women who served South Africa during the Border War and the internal conflicts.

All Military and Police personnel who served, as well as their families are welcome to attend the parade and to lay a wreath or memento in remembrance.

The parade will take place from 11:00 at the Moth Shellhole on the Heritage Village’s grounds at 14 Vaal Drive, Vanderbijlpark.

Dress code: Formal jacket and tie with de-corations and medals. Veterans can also wear their unit affiliation blazers and headgear, awards and medals.
