Executive Mayor attends annual Education Sunday service
Cllr Zwane congratulated all the graduates and told them to continue making Metsimaholo municipality proud.
SASOLBURG.- Executive mayor of Metsimaholo Local Municipality (MLM), Cllr Jeff Zwane attended Education Sunday service at the City of love and restoration full Gospel church in Zamdela, Sasolburg.
At least 11 graduates were honored in the sunday service that took place on the 29th of May.

Zwane was accompanied by Free State MEC for Finance, Honourable Gadija Brown accompanied along with Professor Puleng fom UNISA, Cllr Lindiwe Tshongwe, Officials from Executive Mayor’s office.
Speaking at the service founder and leader of the church Reverend Mashiloane said the purpose of the City of love and Restoration church is to promote education.

“Graduates have a purpose with those qualifications in your hands and have a focus to convert the economy of our Province, Free State”, said MEC Brown.
In his key note address, Executive Mayor Zwane said, “Education serves as the means to bring about the desired change in society. The fundamental purpose of education is to gain knowledge, inculcate the forms of proper conduct and acquire technical competency. Education serves as the means to develop oneself physically, mentally and socially – and this is the reason why education and youth are like hand and glove – they go together and share the common direction that is the future”.
Cllr Zwane congratulated all the graduates and told them to continue making Metsimaholo municipality proud.
