Malawian born Ngunda has been a committed member of the Curro family, having previously been the head of the high school at Curro’s Meridian Cosmo City School since 2017. Some of his many achievements at Meridian Cosmo City include achieving a 100% matric pass rate in Physical Sciences between 2010 and 2014 and from 2017 to 2021. Also, whilst at the helm of the school, Meridian Cosmo City was top-performing among other Curro Academy and Meridian schools in 2017, 2020 and 2021.

Ngunda completed an Honours Degree in Engineering before opting to pursue teaching and specialising in Mathematics. Despite his exemplary teaching career, it is Ngunda’s passion and determination to foster a love for science and mathematics amongst youngsters that makes him the ideal choice for this position.
