The first Amazing Geeks event was amazing!
VAALPARK. - According to the Event Director, Joost Loftus, the objective was met to introduce a new platform whereby creative and strategic thinking patterns are integrated to enhance and expand the cognitive abilities of both learners and adults to improve their problem solving capacity and innovative skills through interactive participation. This initiative, indirectly, also stimulate Emotional (EQ) and Social (SQ) Intelligence.
The Amazing Geeks event makes it possible to engage with participants on an entertainment and practical level to promote STEAM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) endorsed by the educational sector internationally.
The other dimension of Amazing Geeks is to promote the inclusion of physical activity through traditional sports to enhance holistic well-bing and ultimately the thinking performance.
Entertainment provided by Amazing Geeks breaks down stress related thinking complexities through structured single and multi-tasked orientations.
LEARNING MUST BE FUN!
Learning through the senses by creating, discovering and experience ensure self-awareness and increases the memory base.
This supports the negative emotions associated with learning and thinking. This simplified framework changes anxiety into excitement. Problems are changed into challenges and addressed with more confidence.
Creative thinking bring about the sense of accomplishment and calmness while strategic thinking allows us to resolve challenges. Weaknesses are turned into strengths.
The Amazing Geeks seed was planted and is already growing.
