Crossfit Murph Challenge in Vaalpark
CrossFit athletes in gyms across the world annually perform the Hero Workout known as ‘Murph’. It is a workout that has become synonymous with CrossFit, not just for its toughness, but for what it represents.

Hero WOD’s are programmed by CrossFit to honour the men and women that have fallen in the line of duty.
This workout is specifically to honour Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan on 28 June 2005.

(His heroics were depicted in the movie Lone Survivor with Mark Wahlberg). You can also read more about him on www.murphfoundation.org
