VANDERBIJLPARK. – This is no ordinary shop, Hidden Treasure is a charity shop situated on Helena Lochner Street, selling anything & everything to raise funds for Multi Ministries projects in Southern Africa.
“We would like to thank the local community for all the donations we receive and would like to invite you to come and visit our charity shop; either with donations or to browse amongst the amazing items that are for sale,” says Estelle Holtzhausen.
Multi Ministries is raising funds with the idea to erect a steel structure to be used as a church and after-school homework center using the proceeds from the Hidden Treasure shop. This project should be completed by the end of July.
To date, the hidden treasure shop has funded three school buildings in rural areas as well as funding Pastors’ training and conferences run by Multi Ministries.
Impact Africa is a challenge-run mission trip for 20 days in the July school holidays each year. A team of about 30 people flies from Australia to Johannesburg, South Africa, to be involved in a variety of evangelism and outreach-orientated ministries.

“We help various established ministries in South Africa including World Hope Prison Ministries, Gospel Outreach, Christian Leadership Institute, Cheerful Caregivers, hospital chaplaincy, Joe Slovo Centre of Excellence, Multi Ministries, and many others.
“Through these ministries we are able to run programmes and have involvement with children, prisoners, and hospital patients as well as work in squatter camps, taxi ranks and other street ministries.
“Through this trip, our main aims are to develop and grow the Christian character of each team member, strengthen the arm of ministries in SA and bring more people to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Saviour,” explains Estelle.
Africa Mission Trip comes to Koppies in the Free State this year.
