Danelle stated: “The purpose of this event was to empower, uplift, and motivate these girls as they navigate the final stages of their matric year and prepare for the future.”

During the event, Sule Loggenberg, a permanent makeup and aesthetics specialist, delivered a speech titled ‘Birds of a Feather,’ in which she educated the girls on recognising their personality traits as they enter the adult world.

The girls were also treated to flame-grilled burgers for lunch, courtesy of a local restaurant. Guest speaker Nqobizitha Sibanda motivated the girls to study hard, pursue their goals after school, and never give up on their dreams.

She emphasised: “Your future is in your own hands.”

The day was made even more special with the distribution of goody bags donated by Jason’s Angels, a humanitarian organization focused on ending Gender-Based Violence, and other generous contributors.

The girls expressed their joy and gratitude upon receiving these gifts.

Danelle shared her thoughts, saying: “Giving back to the community brings me great fulfilment. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to making this day a success.”
