Small acts of kindness makes a huge difference

VEREENIGING - In a heartwarming display of community spirit and dedication, Harcourts Real Estate demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by organising a donation drive and renovation project for Mandela Day.

This year, the team at Harcourts focused their efforts on the Catherine Robson Children’s Home, contributing to both the physical and emotional well-being of the children residing there.

Harcourts Real Estate donated a substantial amount of food to the Catherine Robson Children’s Home.

This contribution will go a long way in ensuring that the children have access to nutritious meals, a fundamental necessity for their growth and development.

The donation was warmly received by the staff, who expressed their gratitude for the support from the local business community.

This year Harcourt visited the Catherine Robson Childrens Home in Vereening on Mandela Day and made quite an impact.

In addition to the food donation, Harcourts Real Estate took on the task of renovating the kitchen and lounge used by the teenage boys at the home.

Recognising the importance of a comfortable and uplifting environment, the team painted the room in vibrant, warming colour.

The transformation not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the spaces but also created a more homely atmosphere for the teenagers.

“Giving back to the community is a core value for us, and being able to make a difference in the lives of these children is incredibly rewarding. We hope our contributions will have a lasting impact and inspire others to support those in need.”

As Harcourts Real Estate continues to grow and succeed in the real estate market, its commitment to giving back remains unwavering.

Their involvement in Mandela Day activities serves as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can collectively lead to significant improvements in the lives of those less fortunate.

“We would like to extend a big thank you to a several local businesses for their contributions in making this day a success, including Mortgage Max, CBI Attorneys and De Wet Lyell & Maeyane Attorneys. Your support is greatly appreciated.”
