Fun and games at Party in the USA fundraiser
VEREENIGING - The Barnyard Vereeniging was abuzz with excitement last Friday night as 200 guests gathered for a joint fundraiser between local model Kimberly Styles and Yvette Wild of 50 Shades of Spay.
Yvette is a well-known animal activist in the Vaal, and Kimberly is a local model who was crowned Overall Grand Supreme Miss Rainbow Nation 2024; Ultimate Chantenique Supreme Queen 2024 and Model of the Year.
Kimberly needed funds to compete in a pageant overseas, while Yvette required funds for her annual Christmas outreach; settle the 50 Shades of Spay vet account, and get a little extra in the bank to last her until the next fundraiser (Wag & Walk in July 2025).

“Mann Holdings have been the backbone of this venture. They have assisted both Kim and me in so many ways and got the ball rolling for the fundraiser. The Barnyard Vereeniging gave us the venue and Drapes for Africa took care of the decor,” says Yvette.
But it took a lot of planning and hard work to make the Party in the USA Fundraiser a success, and it paid off.
In total 20 tables of 10 people per table were sold. The auction table, raffle table, and spot prizes were brimming with donated gifts to the value of R50 000.
The evening, hosted by Andrew Visagie from Raai en Lawaai, was a celebration of kindness and humanity that resulted in a night of fabulous fun.
“I extend my heartfelt gratitude and love to Kimberly Styles, Andrew Visagie, Mann Holdings, and all the amazing companies and individuals who supported this incredible event,” says Yvette.

Highlight of the evening
In a remarkable display of graciousness and compassion, Kimberly donated her portion of the funds raised to 50 Shades of Spay.
This had Yvette in tears, as Kimberly’s selfless gesture has ensured that the community and animals in the Vaal will continue to benefit from the organisation’s vital work in 2025.
“I am so grateful for the kindness and compassion shown by the community. Every cent that I make goes towards improving the lives of those who cannot speak.”
