Young golf prodigy a future star

Remeber the name Logan Peltier

VANDERBIJLPARK – He might only be five years old, but Logan Peltier is already turning heads on the greens. Remember the name Logan Peltier. This young prodigy, the son of the talented frontman of the band Changing Face and a respected businessman in the Vaal, is making remarkable strides in golf.

Under the guidance of Heron Bank’s golf pro, Almero Theron, Logan has showcased skills that far exceed expectations for someone his age. With such talent and dedication, many believe he is destined for a professional golfing career.

According to his father, golf is not just a hobby for Logan – it’s a way of life. “He lives, eats, and sleeps golf,” he proudly shares. Logan’s journey started early. At just two years old, he developed a love for the sport and began hitting golf balls daily. Now, at five, he practices or plays every single day. He receives coaching twice a week from Theron, while his father accompanies him to the course on other days.

One day when I am big!

“He practices about four or five times a week,” his father explains. “He loves putting the most, and it’s probably the strongest aspect of his game. He wakes up every day asking to go to the golf course.”

Observing and learning!

He recently met his hero Max Homa at the Nedbank Golf Challenge at Sun City.
Next year Logan’s father plans to introduce him to playing nine holes twice a week. This step is intended to prepare him for tournaments tailored to six-year-olds. With his natural talent, passion, and the support of his family, Logan Peltier is undoubtedly a name to watch in the world of golf.
