“Thanks to the generosity of our community, we collected dozens of boxes filled with clothes, shoes, teddy bears, and essential food items, including rice and boxed milk, to support those in need,” said Ryan Barlett, spokesperson of the school.

The handover took place at the Child Welfare South Africa Vanderbijlpark office, where representatives from both organisations came together to mark the occasion. From Child Welfare South Africa, Magda, Mpho, and Aletta were present.

First Steps was represented by principal Carol van Zyl, along with Ilze-Marie Mienie, Ryan Bartlett, Tshepiso Ntjingila, and Chenique Engelbrecht.

“This initiative continues to make a meaningful impact, bringing hope and relief to children and families in our community. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, making this another successful year of giving back,” Ryan concluded.
