VANDERBIJLPARK – The annual Ace Models National Conference returned to the Emerald Casino for the fourth consecutive year, hosting over 300 competing models from branches across South Africa and Namibia from October 3 to 6.
However, the real dominance came from the local contingent. Ace Models Vaal, under the direction of Natasha Menino-Costa, achieved a phenomenal result, securing a total of over 35 national titles.
Their crowning achievement was clinching the prestigious Advance Franchise of the Year Award 2025, officially recognising Ace Models Vaal as the most established and successful branch nationwide.
The Vaal branch solidified its position by sweeping the major individual titles, taking home the sought-after crowns for Ace Model of the Year, Photographic Model, Body Beautiful, Runway Model, and Pageantry Model.
Director Menino-Costa and one of her star students, Tanita de Gouveia, were also honoured with the respected Legacy Award.
This unprecedented success means several local Ace Models are now preparing to represent South Africa on the global stage:
Yulienke Jacobs is currently competing in Egypt.
Sharica Bondesio will embark on a multi-country tour, competing in New York, Mexico, and Peru.
Megan-Lee Loubser is set to represent the country in Spain.
