VEREENIGING – Sherlain Holmes was crowned as the first Miss Aesthetic International. The glamorous event took place in Indonesia.
The contestants from across the globe gathered in Jakarta on December 3, with the main event taking place on December 6.
Throughout the week, Sherlain gave positive feedback to her fans and family at home. Saying she is really enjoying the experience and is proud to wear the Miss Aesthetic South Africa sash.
She was overwhelmed with joy when she was crowned the winner. The next morning, she posted on Facebook:
“My heart is so full I still can’t believe this is real. This moment reminds me that when you take care of yourself, inside and out, life begins to blossom in ways you never expected.
“I am deeply grateful for every person who believed in me, and for the journey that taught me that wellness, kindness, and self-love are the most beautiful forms of success.
“May my story encourage someone out there to believe in their own power, too!
Among the many messages of congratulations on the various social media platforms, the one from her mother, Diane Holmes, stood out: “Super proud of you, my beautiful daughter. You are a strong and courageous woman with such a good heart. Well done.”
Sherlain will be returning to South Africa on December 9.
