Thunder in the Vaal: 10 Years of unity at the Ubuntu Breakfast Run

Representing various clubs, genders, races, and nationalities from across Africa, the participants gathered to honor the core philosophy of the event: Ubuntu “I am because we are”.

VANDERBIJLPARK – The roads between Boksburg and the Vaal transformed into a sea of chrome and camaraderie on Sunday as the 10th Annual Ubuntu Breakfast Run roared into town.

More than 1 000 riders, a diverse mix of seasoned veterans and fresh-faced rookies, participated in a massive convoy that stretched across the horizon.

The milestone 10th anniversary wasn’t just about the machines; it was a powerful demonstration of unity, respect, and peace.

What started as a local gathering has evolved into a pan-African celebration of diversity, proving that the bond of the open road transcends all borders.

The energy reached its peak as the mass ride arrived at the Emerald Resort and Casino.

A crowd of enthusiastic supporters greeted the riders with cheers, kicking off an afternoon of festivities.

For the riders of the Vaal and their visiting counterparts, the event served as a vibrant reminder that while they may ride different bikes, they all share the same spirit.
