Fun day for ‘pawrents’ and fur kids
MEYERTON - Dog owners are invited to enjoy a special day with their furry friends in aid of 50 Shades of Spay.
Yvette Wilde of 50 Shades of Spay will be hosting the event at the Meyerton Sport & Recreation Club. Entrance is only R20 per person and R20 per dog.
“It is a late afternoon walk planned specially to keep the pawrents and pooches cool. You have a choice of 2,5km or a 5 km walk, which will commence at 17:30,” explains Yvette.
Safe route
The route is safe and will be within the Meyerton Sports Ground, with various water points.
Please take note that all dogs must be on a leash.
The gates will open at 16:00 and there will also be entertainment. Carla, local singer/songwriter, will be performing and a few small competitions will take place before and after the walk. There will also be a doggy menu available.
Top class venue
“The venue is top class, and there is bar and restaurant fascilities for the pawrents, with a children’s play area so you can linger as long as you want,” says Yvette.
“Please join us as we celebrate the last day of February in Valentine’s fashion in aid of the 50 Shades of Spay vet account”.
Should you feel you would like to make an extra donation, a bag of dog or cat food will be much appreciated and will be going to the monthly outreach animals supported by 50 Shades of Spay.
