A great number of youth from Refengkgotso in Deneysville converged at Refengkgotso Community Hall on Thursday 27 October for the Metsimaholo Youth in Agriculture Programme.

The event was organised by Metsimaholo Local Municipality in partnership with the Free State Department of Agriculture, land reform and Rural Development ; DESTEA and Sernick group.
Presentations from Free State Department of Agriculture, land reform and Rural Development ; DESTEA and Sernick group informed the participants about accessibility to funding opportunities, as well as understanding the hurdles confronting the sector.
“When we engage youth in agriculture, we support the growth and prosperity of our communities” said the Executive Mayor, Cllr Jeff Zwane.
