ELM warned: Scattered to widespread showers and thundershowers with possibility of heavy downpours, which may lead to localized flooding.

Impacts:

– Localized flooding of susceptible informal settlements, low lying roads and bridges

– Poor driving conditions due to pooling of water and reduced visibility

– Increased travel times

– Difficult driving conditions on dirt roads

Instructions:

– Avoid crossing flooded roads and swollen streams. Where rising water levels are observed, move to high ground.
