SEDIBENG. – The North West University (NWU) has congratulated one of their students for making it into the final of the Spar Proteas (SA Netball national team) that is going to the Netball World Cup that will be taking place in Cape Town this month.
Elmere van der Berg has been selected as part of the final list of 12 players that will represent the country at the Netball World Cup Cape Town, starting on July 28.
“We would like to congratulate our student Elmere van der Berg for being selected as part of the final list of 12 players to represent the country.”
The team will meet on 14 July in Cape Town for a final training camp before the Netball World Cup which takes place from 28 July to 6 August and will be played at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC).
