SEEBOKENG.- The Thabo Vuyo Resource Centre recently hosted a disability awareness event, making it a memorable day for learners.

The event took place at the Saul Tsotetsi Sports Complex in Zone 14, Sebokeng, on November 11, and was attended by parents, community members, former Thabo Vuyo Resource Centre learners, and guests from various organisations.

Speaking with Sedibeng Ster, Mary Speelman mentioned that contributions from sponsors like KFC, Prime Meat, and Pick n’ Pay played a pivotal role in its success. “I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our event. The learners had a fantastic time.

We eagerly anticipate next year’s event, aiming to make it even bigger and better.

Witnessing the learners enjoy themselves was overwhelming; it was evident how much they valued this platform to showcase their talents,” she said. The day buzzed with activities, featuring various forms of entertainment. The highlight was the Mr. and Miss Thabo Vuyo Resource Centre Pageant, where learners competed for the titles of Mr. and Miss Thabo Vuyo, and the deserving winners were crowned.
