VANDERBIJLPARK.- A horror crash in Vanderbjilpark resulted in the deaths of three people and injured four people, Emergency service Cert SA announced on Sunday.

Cert SA was dispatched to the R42, Barrage Road, Vanderbjilpark for a car accident at around 05:30 on Sunday, January 21.

“Upon arrival, we found one vehicle that had rolled. Three patients were still entrapped in the vehicle, and four patients had been ejected from the vehicle.”

Four of the patients sustained moderate injuries and were stabilised on scene before being transported to nearby facilities by ER24 and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services, while three patients unfortunately passed due to the extent of their injuries and were declared dead on scene.”

Cert SA thanked ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. and Gauteng Emergency Medical Services for their assistance on scene.
