Shoebox Project needs you

Volunteers help Santa Shoebox ensure that tens of thousands of underprivileged children receive a shoebox lovingly filled with the eight required essential items and treats.

VANDERBIJLPARK. – Volunteers are at the heart of the Santa Shoebox Project and it is particularly in need of helping hands in the Vaal Triangle area.
The project’s theme for 2024 is Taking a Step Towards Brighter Tomorrows, which refers to the various ways in which you are able to meaningfully impact on the life of a child in need; setting them up to succeed in their school career and in their subsequent life choices.
Volunteers help Santa Shoebox ensure that tens of thousands of underprivileged children receive a shoebox lovingly filled with the eight required essential items and treats. Do you have a few hours to spare each month?
This fulfilling and joyful project welcomes team members nationwide and in Namibia.
Other teams in dire need of volunteers include Ekurhuleni, Krugersdorp and Rustenburg. If you have friends or family in these areas, spread the word about volunteering.
To get involved as a volunteer, drop Santa Shoebox an email at volunteer@ santashoebox.org.za to be connected with a coordinator in your area.
