KLIPRIVIER – The Känguru Institute for the Disabled’s Fun Run/Walk annually coincides with Mandela Day.
This year saw the fourth annual Fun Run/ Walk and included a 3km, 5km and 10km run.
In attendance were the Executive Mayor of the Midvaal Local Municipality, Peter Teixeira, members of the Midvaal Local Municipality’s Mayoral Committee, founder of the Känguru Home, Mr Sam Boshielo and several other guests and participants.
The aim of this annual Fun Run/Walk is to create awareness about the Känguru Home that offers care and shelter for 46 severely ill and disabled children.
