SASOLBURG – The HTS Sasolburg’s team of 113 athletes delivered outstanding performances at the Vaalrivier Athletics Championships earning 14 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and six bronze medals.

Forty athletes qualified for the Fezile Dabi Athletics Meeting, with four ranking among the top 50 achievements. The standout was Peroni Lephuthing, whose time of 04:06.15 in the Boys U/16 1500m was faster than the U/17 and U/19 winners, marking him as a rising star for the SA Championships.
