MEYERTON – A protest which appears to involve workers from the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) is currently disrupting traffic on the R59 highway (northbound) between the Johan le Roux and Meyer Street off-ramps in Meyerton, Gauteng.

Demonstrators, reportedly wearing orange overalls, have barricaded the road with burning tyres and debris, causing significant traffic delays.
