Police searching for sexual assault suspects
Police say a 15-year-old girl was raped by two unknown suspects, who approached the victim while walking on the street.
VEREENIGING – The Vereeniging Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) unit is appealing to the public for assistance in locating suspects involved in an alleged rape in Eye of Africa in Kliprivier on July 14.
Police say a 15-year-old girl was raped by two unknown suspects, who approached the victim while walking on the street. One of the suspects asked for a certain address. While the victim was busy explaining, they covered her face with a cloth. The suspects proceeded to take her to the car, and they raped her in an open space.
One of the suspects in question is described as a male with a fair complexion, 35-40 years old, slender build, medium height, with a small beard, and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie and a red cap.

In a separate incident, FCS is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who may be able to help with the investigation into a rape case.
This after a 22-year-old woman was raped on July 26 at approximately 20:45 in Heidelberg.
