Murder investigation underway after girlfriend stabs boyfriend

SEBOKENG.- The Sebokeng Police are investigating a case of murder after a man (46) was found stabbed with a sharp object on the chest.
On 27 September, the police were summoned to the murder scene in Sonderwater. On arrival, they found a lifeless body of the man lying on the bed with a stab wound on the chest.
“It was alleged that the deceased and his girlfriend were heard arguing, and a fight erupted and the girlfriend stabbed the deceased with a sharp object in the chest. The deceased was declared dead on the scene and was taken to Forensic Pathology Services for further investigation,” said police spokesperson, Sergeant Nthabiseng Mokhachane.
The suspect was detained at Sebokeng SAPS.
