Three Rivers water supply update

Residents of Three Rivers are experiencing low water pressure after a pipeline burst, and repairs are currently underway with no set completion time.

VEREENIGING – Residents of Three Rivers have reported low water pressure. Ward Councillor Dalene Venter provided the following update regarding the situation, which occurred on Friday:

“I was at the pipeline where it burst, and the Emfuleni team is currently working next to the river. They are pumping out water to assess the damage and determine which parts are needed. Once this assessment is complete, they will go to Vanderbijlpark to collect the necessary parts for repairs. No timeframe is currently available for when the work will be finished today.”

Residents are advised to expect continued low water pressure until repairs are completed.
