Destinata star shines in NSC exams
A second-place finish in Gauteng among schools for learners with special needs sets Jessica Ras apart.
MEYETON – Jessica Ras of Destinata School achieved an outstanding milestone, earning five distinctions in her National Senior Certificate (NSC) exam and placing second among LSEN schools in Gauteng.
Jessica achieved distinctions in Afrikaans, First Additional Language, English Home Language, life orientation, accounting, and computer applications technology (CAT) — a testament to her dedication and versatility across both languages and technical subjects.
Her teachers are full of praise.
Wanda Thomas, a representative from the school, said, “She deserves it, she worked very hard.”
Looking ahead, Jessica will continue her academic journey at the University of Pretoria, where she will study BCom in statistics and data science.
