VANDERBIJLPARK – In the spirit of Nelson Mandela Day, the team from Harcourts Vaal Triangle dedicated more than just 67 minutes to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Guided by the belief that every act of kindness matters, the team came together to prepare and distribute approximately 300 litres of hearty soup and bread/buns to the residents of Pioneer House and the surrounding CW5 and CW6 communities.

“Hundreds of community members received a warm meal, a friendly smile and a reminder that they are not forgotten,” says Samantha de Villiers, Business Developer Manager at Harcourts.

The annual 67 Minutes campaign encourages South Africans to dedicate at least 67 minutes of their time to helping others in honour of Nelson Mandela’s 67 years of public service.

“For us, giving back is more than an annual event; it is part of the office’s commitment to supporting and uplifting the communities it serves,” says De Villiers.

“Community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that even the smallest act of kindness can make a lasting impact. Seeing our team and partners come together to serve others reminds us of what can be achieved when people unite for a common purpose.”

Their support helped ensure that hundreds of people enjoyed a warm meal and experienced the spirit of Mandela Day.
