A dream became a reality for Mi-cha van den Heever, a Star Nissan Vereeniging customer who recently won the Nissan Magnite Buy One, Gift One Competition.
This competition ran from May to June. Customers who purchased a new Nissan Magnite during this period were automatically entered for a chance to win a second Nissan Magnite free for someone else. The winner was selected by means of a lucky draw by Nissan South Africa. The promotional giveaway concluded with the winner announcement in July/ August. With entries from all over South Africa, the odds were certainly in Van den Heever’s favour when the national draw produced a winner from Star Nissan Vereeniging.
Sharing in the joy, Star Nissan Vereeniging said they were elated to hand over the keys of the new ride. “We hope you and your lucky friend enjoy every adventure in your new Nissan Magnite. Wishing you both endless safe, happy, and unforgettable journeys ahead,” Star Nissan Vereeniging said in a statement.
Van den Heever says she bought her new Magnite in June, was entered into the competition and then completely forgot about it. “A few weeks later, Jacques from Star Nissan Vereeniging called me and asked me to come in. He said we needed to discuss some things about the car, so I still had no idea that I had won. “I arrived there on July 15 and didn’t really know what was going on. When we got to the front, they asked me if I believed in luck. I said yes, I did. Then they opened the door, and it looked like a party inside there were balloons, music and poppers, people were dancing, and there was a brand-new Magnite standing there. That’s when I realised I had won the competition.” Van den Heever says winning the competition has changed her life. “It felt very surreal. I mean, you don’t win a car every day. It was amazing. The car has really changed our lives. I am still incredibly grateful to Nissan South Africa and the staff at Star Nissan Vereeniging for their fantastic service,” said Van den Heever. Van den Heever’s luck is proof that one plus one does indeed equal two.
