MEYERTON. – The High-Performance Cricket Academy (HPCA) bounced into 2024 without hesitation with its first 8-a-side tournament of the year.
The u/11 and u/14 tournaments respectively took place on Saturday and Sunday in Meyerton at the HS Dr. Malan.
South Side and Infinity outplayed Howzat and Super Strikers to be crowned as the HPCA 8-a-side champions.
South Side won the first 8-a-side HPCA u/11 tournament for 2024. They defeated Howzat from the last delivery of the match to clinch the title.The Infinity 8-a-side team won the u/14 HPCA tournament this past weekend by beating the Super Strikers by 20 runs.
