Race 2 No 4 Running Rifles – Win
As is usually he case, this Greyville card will test punters but the one stand-out bet is Justin Snaith’s charge with Anton Marcus up. He has run three consecutive seconds and was a touch unlucky last time. There is not much opposition and he will take a power of beating.
VALUE BET
Race 7 No 4 Aisling – Eachway
This filly contested all the key juvenile feature races in KZN last season and although not placing in any of them, did finish on heels of the placed runners and was rarely far off the winner, especially in the Grade 1 Thekwini Stakes in which she finished fifth, beaten just 2.05 lengths
She has been rested and has had two comeback races, running fourth last time after leading for most of the journey. This is her peak run, she has S’manga Khumalo up, she is drawn well and looks great value at 8-1.
