What a lot of cars, trucks and assets they’ve got

On-site property auctions, bank-repossessed cars and trucks, as well as butchery equipment and assets from a massive clearance-to-upgrade disposal on behalf of Gold Reef City, are all on the sales diary for the next few weeks at Consolidated Auction Group.

Immediately on offer is a variety of cars on July 30 at 10 President Street. The run-arounds, sedans, bakkies and panel vans are all from top brands such as Nissan and Toyota, and bidders on the hunt for well-maintained, good-looking low-milers shouldn’t have to look anywhere else.

Wednesday’s auction starts at 10.30am, and prospective buyers are invited to come and view lots on July 29 between 9am and 4pm.

On Thursday, Chico da Silva, managing member of Consolidated, will auction yet more bank-repossessed assets, ready to roll out of Consolidated’s yard.

On July 31, Da Silva will hammer home a selection of mechanical horses, trucks, forklifts, tippers, construction and earthmoving equipment, side tippers, superlink and interlink trailers, slopers, flat decks, double- and single-axle pantechnicons, volume and drop-side vans, as well as LDVs.

Looking for good-condition trucking and construction machines? This is the one! As with the bank-repossessed car auction, the auction starts at 10.30am and will be held at 10 President Street in Germiston, Consolidated’s main auction centre in Ekurhuleni’s capital.

Buyers, particularly portfolio investors, can also diarise the following auctions: residential opportunity in Witbank on August 1, and another on-site property auction, tipped as a “great commercial opportunity” on August 15.

Wedged in between, on August 4 and 6, is a massive clear-out sale of all sorts on behalf of Gold Reef City.

Kitchen, bakery, restaurant and banquet equipment, chairs and tables, dinnerware, indoor and outdoor quality lights, fixtures and fittings, crockery, bedding and beds, collectables and antiques, golf carts and LDVs must all go.

And on July 6, a major Bruma Lake butchery processing facility, fully fitted and equipped, will be stripped down and sold lock stock and proverbial barrel.
