Season 7 of  The Walking Dead will premiere internationally on October 24 across all FOX channels outside the US.

Season 6 of The Walking Dead broke international viewership records and dominated as the #1 show outside the US. The season 6 premiere was up 17% from prior season. FOX pioneered the day and date release model with season one of The Walking Dead, and the group remains the only international broadcaster to execute this strategy on that scale.

As in previous seasons, the show’s seventh season, with 16 episodes, will air in two parts, with the first eight episodes kicking off internationally on October 24 and the final eight returning in February 2017.

The show’s last season ended with cliffhanger that left viewers with more questions than answers.
