Chicco Twala doesn’t believe Kelly Khumalo played a part in Senzo Meyiwa’s murder

The Orlando Pirates goalkeeper was shot dead in an alleged robbery at Kelly’s family home in Vosloorus in October 2014.
The unsolved murder continues to make headlines, with fingers sometimes being pointed at Kelly, who was dating Senzo at the time of his death.
But Chicco, who was recently accused of covering up who killed the football star, says he believes Kelly is innocent.
Chicco shocked South Africans a few weeks ago when he said that he did not believe a robbery took place the day Senzo died.
He told Power FM that everyone who was in the house that night knows what really happened.
“Someone has pulled a trigger. Someone killed Senzo on that night. These six people knew who did it. Why are they quiet? I am not buying the story about the robbery‚ personally. Someone knows who killed Senzo‚ including my son‚ they must be arrested if need be,” he told the station earlier this month.

But it seems the music producer has now changed his tune. He says he doesn’t believe Kelly would keep quiet if she knew who killed Senzo.
“If it was my son, or anyone else she knew, she would have said something. I don’t think she would have kept quiet. You can’t keep quiet when someone you love dies in front of you and you know who killed him. It would have come out,” he told TshisaLIVE.
Chicco made headlines recently after parody account, @ADVBarryRoux, claimed Chicco’s son Longwe used his gun to kill Senzo.
Longwe, who was dating Kelly’s sister Zandie at the time, denied the accusations.
Nearly four years later, South Africans still don’t know who shot Senzo, but Chicco, who received a call from a crying Kelly on the night he was shot, says it could not have been her.
“Look, I wasn’t there the day Senzo was killed but I know that Kelly and Senzo were in love. Why would she kill him? They were lovers. They had a child together. Someone would have spoken out by now.”
Chicco is now on a manhunt to find out the identity of the person behind the parody account that made damning accusations about him and his son.
“I don’t care what people say on social media. They can speculate all they want. I want the facts and if someone is claiming that I am involved, I want evidence. Otherwise it is defamation,” he told TshisaLIVE.
