Cassper Nyovest dragged for ‘broke shaming’ his fans
Cassper Nyovest once again caused a spicy debate on Twitter with some followers accusing him of “broke shaming” people who are not on his level.
The rapper, whose rags-to-riches journey is well known, doesn’t miss the chance to speak about the power of money.
Just last month Cassper was hauled over the coals for telling fans “to travel more”.
Followers hit back telling him that travelling was a luxury that many of them just couldn’t afford.
Now, in his latest string of tweets, Cassper took the opportunity once again to remind fans how money rules the world.
“Money runs the world. It creates more opportunities, protects you and minimizes punishment when you’re in the wrong, it affords you the luxury of comfort. Not only the comfort of a beautiful home or car but actual time to do absolutely nothing when you decide to be a lazy bugger,” he said.
Fans immediately filled Cassper’s timeline with mixed emotions, questioning whether the rapper’s tweets were meant to inspire or insult those who were trying their best, given their circumstances.
Some followers pointed out how Cassper sometimes seems patronising and that they couldn’t relate.
The rapper’s die-hard fans jumped to his defence, saying that watching his success gives them inspiration in their own lives.
