TMZ reports that Dr Dre is delighted with the outcome as Nicole is only getting “a fraction” of his wealth.

She filed for divorce in June 2020 and later accused the hip hop star of abuse in court papers, adding that she now has “post-traumatic stress syndrome” as a result of the abuse she suffered.

Dr Dre has reportedly strongly denied the abuse claims.

Although the settlement was only recently been concluded, the rapper has been “legally single” since April 2021 after he filed papers to formalise that part of their celebration.

What does each party get in the divorce?

Dre gets to keep seven of the properties they own, full rights to his master recordings, trademarks and interest in various partnerships and trusts.

Proceeds from the sale of Beats by Dre will also solely go to him as he gets to keep their Apple stocks.

Nicole will keep jewellery, cash and bank accounts that she had during the marriage and items from homes they shared that had been placed in storage.

They will have to share the cars they owned as a couple, he will get six and she gets four.

According to the settlement agreement, she will also have to cover her own legal fees, which amounts to millions of dollars, and she was not granted the monthly spousal support that she had filed for.
