AKA, Bonang’s relationship reportedly on the rocks
Bonang was not pleased when AKA reportedly posted a picture on Instagram of himself with Minnie Dlamini.
Bonang “Queen B” Matheba and Kiernan “AKA” Forbes’ relationship seem to be on the rocks after being together for just more than a year.
According to Daily Sun, sources close to the couple claim Bonang was not pleased when AKA reportedly posted a picture on Instagram of himself with Minnie Dlamini and Fikile Mbalula at the ANC’s manifesto launch.
AKA seemed to have defied instructions from his bae to avoid her rival Minnie.
The two further deleted pictures of each other on Instagram, fuelling break-up rumours, and Bonang also blocked those who asked why she had deleted the pictures, the tabloid claims.
Apparently AKA has been given a last warning to stop taking pictures with female celebrities his girlfriend does not like.
“They won’t break up, they love each other. Like any other girl, she was pissed off. I’m not sure these two pretty girls are aware of it,” a source told the tabloid.
It seems the tables have turned on AKA now after reportedly asking Bonang to cut ties with her former best friend, Somizi Mhlongo, assuming he was the one snitching on them to DJ Zinhle. Somizi however revealed on his reality TV show, Living the Dream with Somizi, that he knew nothing about the claims and he in fact wanted to have a meeting with the three of them.
Bonang successfully cut ties with Somizi, and it seems she is now asking the same from AKA.
Reports of their relationship started last year when DJ Zinhle took to her blog to confirm that the two had been in a relationship, with AKA cheating on her while she was still pregnant with their only child, Baby K.
The two denied the reports until this year when they started talking about each other in interviews and posting pictures of each other on social media and ultimately, winning You Spectacular Favourite Couple of the Year award.
