AKA ‘once tried to physically attack’ Ntsiki Mazwai

One user tweeted a list of all the violence AKA had been involved in when the poet shared her own experience with the One Time hit maker.

Kiernan “AKA” Forbes has received criticism for his “violent” behavior in the wake of a recent incident of him throwing a fan’s phone off a balcony. Twitter has urged the Supa Mega to keep his anger in control, with one user saying he must do it before he unleashes his anger on someone who might hit back.

As one user was counting the number of violent incidents AKA has been involved in, poet Ntsiki Mazwai also shared her alleged experience with the One Time hit maker. Responding to the follower, Mazwai says Bonang Matheba’s boyfriend tried to physically attack her once at a shoot on one of his “rages”, without revealing when the incident happened.

“Also once tried to physically attack me at a shoot on one of his ‘rages’,” she tweeted.

She says this is why she is so “pissed off” at him.

The fan who tweeted at her was recounting an incident that happened last year in which AKA slapped the Mama I Made It hit maker Cassper Nyovest at a night club. Cassper shared the incident on Twitter, and later AKA came out denying everything Cassper had told his fans.

However, he made a U-turn and took to Twitter again, admitting that he had indeed slapped Cassper.

Again last year, a video of AKA kicking and pushing a fan off stage during his performance at the Durban July circulated on social media. One of his fans had climbed the stage in excitement when he was performing, something AKA did not like, so he kicked and pushed him off stage.

He received a backlash from his Twitter followers, who said he should have handled the situation better.

Commenting on the incident, AKA said he was not sorry for pushing the fan because he believed that a true fan would never have disturbed his performance.

Another fan who was at his Supa Mega Show on Saturday took to Twitter on Tuesday night to share that AKA had thrown his phone off a balcony. The fan, Thando, said his friend had only asked to take a selfie with Bonang, and AKA didn’t seem to like the idea of a “drunk person” taking a selfie with his girlfriend.
