David and Camilla are gearing up for their wedding...

Proud fiancée Camilla Harries took to Instagram to celebrate her man following Proteas‘ victory on Wednesday.

The SA Cricket team won by 190 runs against New Zealand, putting one foot into the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup.

The team will face India on Sunday, 5 November, at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata, India.

Taking to Instagram, David’s wife-to-be wrote: “So proud of you Davey. I am so happy.”

David and Camilla’s engagement

David and Camilla announced their engagement in August. They started dating last year but had known each other for six years.

“Here’s to a lifetime together with my soulmate. You make me so incredibly happy! I love you,” Camilla wrote on Instagram, captioning her engagement pictures.

“She said YES! Camilla Miller, has a nice ring to it right?” David also shared on his Instagram page.

Wedding preparations

The pair will tie the knot next year. “5 months until we say ‘I do’, forever,” Camilla revealed on Instagram a few days ago.

She also shared that the hunt for her wedding dress has started. She added: “Incredibly grateful for these girls who have been rock solid in my life. We were just missing my special @jenna.lee01 and @dane_claassen. I cannot wait to have you all stand by my side on my big day. To my angel friend in heaven, Aloocey, you would have been here too. I miss you!!”

In an interview with YOU, Camilla said even though she hasn’t been part of David’s cricket career for long, she knows how to support him.

“It’s important that I give him space to take his mind off cricket. I encourage him and remind him to go back to the building blocks, to believe in himself, and to have fun.”
