I’m entering Miss SA next year, says Somizi

Do not be surprised if you see Idols SA judge and choreographer Somizi Mhlongo working the Miss SA 2018 stage, as he says he will be entering the beauty pageant. Not only is he entering it, but he has also encouraged his followers to enter too, as the prizes are just too great to miss out on.
“Let’s all enter Miss SA next year. Data and airtime worth a lot of money as prize package,” he said.

While they knew Somizi was only joking, his followers encouraged him to got for it, saying they would definitely vote for him on a condition that they share the prizes.
Newly-crowned queen Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will receive R1 million in cash from sponsors Sun International and Cell C as well as a bouquet of prizes.
She will receive the cash, a car, an international holiday and other prizes in a package that exceeds R2 million.
