Khloè does not deserve backlash for my wrongdoings – Tristan Thompson

He explains his silence and comes to Khloe Kardashian's defence.

After months of silence following his cheating scandal, basketball player Tristan Thompson has finally shared his thoughts on what transpired between himself, the mother of his child, Khloe Kardashian, and her younger sister’s friend, Jordyn Woods.

In February this year, it was revealed that Thompson had kissed and canoodled with Woods at a party at his house while he and Kardashian were still in a relationship.

In the months that followed this revelation, Thompson and Kardashian separated, Kylie (Khloe’s younger sister) and Woods ended their friendship and Woods participated in a tell-all interview on her aunt Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Facebook Watch show Red Table Talk.

All this was documented in a two-part 16th season finale of Khloe’s family’s show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which went on to become the show’s most-watched episode in nearly three years.

In the early days of the scandal, Kardashian placed all the blame about what happened squarely on Jordyn’s shoulders and she received a lot of criticism for it.

All throughout the aforementioned drama, Thompson remained mum, but he finally broke his silence in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

Much of the criticism levelled against Khloe was due to allegations that she had begun her relationship with Thompson while he was still with his ex-girlfriend, who was expecting his child at the time.

Thompson also took the time to rebut these allegations.
