Nandi Mngoma pregnant?

A source, who could not be named, revealed Mngoma could be 20 weeks along.

TV presenter and model Nandi Mngoma and her rumoured husband Zakes Bantwini are expecting their first child together. In a report by Sunday World, Mngoma was spotted by a source who attends the same antenatal facility with her at Morningside Mediclinic, north of Johannesburg.

Mngoma, said be about 20 weeks along, was reportedly with her “hubby” the day she was spotted.

The couple reportedly told the paper they had not yet made a formal statement about the pregnancy.

Things seem to be going well for the couple. Late last month, Mngoma posted a picture of herself on Instagram sporting a big rock on her ring finger that got people asking if she had married or got engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Bantwini.

Following rumours that they were married, Mngoma took to Instagram to share with fans that she would be hosting the red carpet and BET experience leading up to the awards for BET Africa.

Mngoma did a splendid job while wearing one of her creations from her clothing line, earning a spot in Elle Magazine’s top 10 best dressed celebrities.

Last week, Zakes gave a killer performance that left the audience tapping their feet and singing along to the muso’s many hit songs on his unplugged session at Afro Café studios.

“Unplugged sessions are important to musicians, instrumentalists and backup singers,” the renowned singer, dancer and record label owner told The Citizen. “’This is when you get to be spontaneous and your musicianship is highlighted. When in studio, you can always go back and tweak this and that and fix things, put a delay and auto-tune and then be on key – but with unplugged sessions you can’t do that. It’s just you,” he explained.

The Clap Your Hands hit-maker further went on to mention that when he performs he always tries to enjoy his performances with his band. Well, hopefully the bundle of joy will join him on stage soon and we sure will enjoy it too.
