Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest announce new date and venue after failed Durban show

The duo was lambasted by fans who were disappointed by their none-performance in Durban last Saturday due to heavy rains.

After disappointed fans, who were stranded in the rain last weekend in Durban complained, rappers Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest quelled the storm by announcing a new date and venue for the gig.

“Durban! After having to cancel last Saturday’s show because of the rain, we’ve made plans to make it up to you,” wrote Nasty C on his Instagram announcing the new date and venue.

The newly announced date is 21 October at the Durban nightclub, The Warehouse.

“Durban… again apologies for sound messing our event up last week just before Nasty and I were about to jump on,” wrote Cassper Nyovest.

“We coming back though, please redeem your new ticket at Webtickets with same info you used to purchase original ticket.”

“Durban we really sorry that we weren’t able to perform today. The sound desk got damaged due to rain. After a number of attempts to try to recover the sound we had to make the tough decision of cancelling the show,” was the joint statement released by the duo after the postponement.

Tour paused for solo pursuits

The rappers, real names David Ngcobo (Nasty C) and Refiloe Phoolo (Cassper Nyovest) have put their African Throne Tour on a slight pause to focus on their individual ambitions.

Yesterday Nasty C premiered a short documentary with the same title as his album, I Love it Here: The Documentary.

“An exclusive inside look at the making of Nasty C’s 4th studio album. I Love It Here: The Documentary follows the South African Hip Hop musician as he delivers the finishing touches to his best work yet,” it’s described on YouTube.

While Nasty C gave access to his fans on the making of his album, Cassper Nyovest teased his fans on his stories after landing in Dubai for a performance there over the weekend.
