WATCH: Tumi Morake snatches off own wig for AKA
The comedian showed her appreciation for the rapper in an unexpected way.

It’s no secret that Tumi Morake and Bonang Matheba aren’t on the best of terms.
It all started when the TV presenter invited the media darling to make an appearance on her show, WTF Tumi.

Bonang responded with a single emoji, but her fans weighed in on the situation and warned her not to go on the show.
Some accused the show of turning Bonang into a laughing stock and being a circus that should primarily invite guests who are supposedly known for their prima-donna behaviour, such as Dineo Ranaka and the Diski Divas.

Bonang finally responded by declining the host’s invitation, citing her fans’ cautionary advice as the reason.

In an alleged act of retaliation, Tumi invited Bonang’s ex-beau AKA on her show instead.
She announced her intention to become part of the Megacy, the rapper’s fan club, before grabbing her wig off her head and saying: “He’s single, and I want you to know that I’m so desperate to be a part of the Megacy, that you don’t have to wait two years to see me without a weave.”
The act was a clear reference to a line from AKA’s ‘Beyonce’ song, where he sings about his ex-girlfriend: “Waited two years just to see you with your weave off.”
