Soapie Award nominees named

The nominees for the controversial inaugural Royalty Soapie Awards have been announced.

The ceremony, which was originally scheduled for November 4 but was then postponed, will now take place on March 8 next year at the Durban International Convention Centre.

It was announced earlier this year that the nominees would be revealed in September, and when this didn’t happen the organisation of the event was brought into question.
